Father of four, Granddad of three, adventurer at heart, passionate about photography, hiking, food... I would like to explore the planet, set foot in each of the countries of all continents to enjoy their culture, their typical dishes, their alcohol, capture the maximum with my camera and my five senses, especially:) I like long trips as much as short adventures in a burst.

My taste for travel really started in 2008 with a one-month backpack trip to Peru. From that moment on, I knew I would be caught up in this addiction of wanting to discover the world. A true drug!!! I of course made some all-inclusive trips but it doesn't quench my thirst to discover! I admit to having a pretty intense rhythm when I leave home to venture around. I want to see the maximum in each experience:)

After visiting some southern countries, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and several Caribbean islands such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, I finally tackle Europe that I discovered with my beloved over the past few months. Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Malta... whew, I haven't finished walking around in this area! Between these trips to more distant countries, I loved exploring our neighbours in the United States with road trips to Yellowstone, the Keys, all over Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, escapades in Alaska, New Orleans, Nashville, Seattle, Vegas and the Canyons, New York not to mention our Canada and our beautiful Quebec... and despite everything, I still have the impression to begin traveling!

The most beautiful part of all this? I hope to be able to tell you in detail each of these journeys and let the hundreds (thousands?) of photos speak for themselves through this blog.

When Sophie and I met in 2017, we quickly planned a very first Road Trip to travel from Montreal to Key West, in the far end of Florida, and back to the cold about ten days later. We installed a mattress with blankets for the nights on the road in my Kia Sorento. The idea was not to save us money on hotels or restaurants but to be autonomous in terms of energy for a refrigerator, as to be able to sleep everywhere just like at home.
